Bintang Ranbir Kapoor Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films this year and also features Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna in the main role. Recently, The Makers launched the first romantic song from the film, Kesariya which immediately became the big hit among the audience. Now, Ayan Mukerji, director of Brahmastra, launched a second song tempter called Deva Deva. He also shared that the track will be released on August 8.
Sharing Deva Deva Teasers, Ayan calls him the spirit of Shiva’s journey and writes it: “Deva Deva Teaser. (And the rest – on Monday – Lord Shiva Day) Deva Deva – is the first song to be arranged for Brahmāstra, capturing Shiva’s journey immediately in the film! This has given me so much energy and excitement from that time with us … and I really hope to finally share this feeling with everyone – on August 8!

In the video, Ranbir alias Shiva was seen praying to God and he told Isha (Alia Bhatt) the concept of light. “That’s what protects us when faced with any darkness,” he said. Then, it also showed Shiva’s various views that explored the power of fire with Amitabh Bachchan. Deva Deva was sung by Arijit Singh, compiled by Pritam and the lyrics were written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva is scheduled to be released on September 9 in five Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film is funded by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures. This is intended to function as the first made in a trilogy which is planned as part of the cinematic universe itself called ‘astraverse’.
