The deadlock about the new government of the peak body is currently in the top court of the country.
The case of the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) was heard in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. This is under the old pressure from FIFA to complete the constitution quickly or face the possibility of prohibitions.

Gopal’s senior advocate proposed a decision made by Coa to Justice Dy Chandrachud. It eventually became an affair who had been running for a long time which lasted for hours. In the end, these rules were stipulated by the Supreme Court for how the AIFF Committee will run.

AIFF selection date set

It has been confirmed that the new AIFF selection to form a new committee will be held before September 15. The exact date has not been determined, but will be held next month and before the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup.

This is in accordance with FIFA’s instructions and can ensure that no further problems are raised. This also means that the new AIFF committee will exist before the Indian Super League (ISL) season is likely to begin.

Temporary body that will be made

The Supreme Court ordered that the body will be made for elections. This temporary agency will only hold positions for three months until the new constitution is officially adopted. That means it will be a short -term body that only maintains their strength until the end of the year.

It has also been warned that temporary members of the body cannot claim equity in the new AIFF committee. Further changes in how the function of the entity was subject to further orders from the court.

How many members consist of the Election Agency?

It has been decided that 36-members of the university election will be formed to vote on the body temporarily. This will consist of 24 male players and 12 female Indian players. The players only qualify if they have retired for at least more than two years. They also have to play at least one international match so that India meets the requirements.

However, it has been warned by the Supreme Court that there needs to be more equality in future election universities. For example, there must be equality of 50/50 among male and female representatives in the future.

At present, there are not quite a lot of female footballers available to create equality in 36-member Electoral College. Therefore, there are only 12 which is considered for now.
